How do I plan for a skywriting event?

For the best chance of success, flexibility is key!

Asking for "xxxxxx to be written at 2:48 pm on Nov 16th" doesn't leave much of a chance if there are unfavorable weather conditions over the target.  It's better to plan a couple of hours of flex and/or days to give the best chance for the message to be seen by the target audience.

We understand that sometimes it doesn't logistically work on your end, and we'll do our best to offer results at the requested time/date.

Once the message is received/approved, and a date has been locked in, we'll execute a contract with a non-refundable deposit.  7-10 days before the event, we'll start watching the weather and make any audible changes needed.  Before the aircraft departs for the event, we'll make a final weather determination and Go/No-Go decision collectively.  Once the aircraft has launched and reached the event, payment is due, regardless if weather creates an unfavorable outcome.

Disclaimer: We will not skywrite anything that can be construed as vulgar, rude, or political. The message copy must be approved ahead of time by someone on the GhostWriter team.
